Jenever and gin tasting by Jenevercafé ‘t Spul
Welcome to the cozy and (officially recognized) Jenever café ‘t Spul. Here, the owner takes great pleasure and expertise in introducing you to a selection of the 500 different types of jenevers and 60 varieties of gins available at the Jeneverie.
PS: The tasting takes place in the Borrelmuseum of Jenever café ‘t Spul. Take a step back in time and uncover the rich history of Schiedam’s distilled spirits.
Jenevertasting
At this jenever tasting, you will sample a young, old, and barrel-aged old jenever, a korenwijn, and a barrel-aged malt wine jenever. Your observations will be recorded on a tasting form, including aspects such as type, color, aroma, flavor, and overall impression.
Tickets: €40.00 per person.
Available upon request: Wednesdays to Sundays from 14:00 to 22:00. Each tasting lasts 1.5 hours.

All tastings are also available in English, German, and French (please specify in advance!).
The tour requires a minimum of 2 people and can accommodate a maximum of 45 people.

Gintasting
You will listen to the origin of Gin while discovering various tricks to surprise and enhance your taste and sense of smell. You will sample (5) different Gins, first without and then with tonic. The botanicals (herbs, spices, fruits, and vegetables) and a variety of tonic waters will be available to complement the flavors and aromas. You will record your findings on a tasting form, including aspects such as type, color, aroma, flavor, and overall impression.
Tickets: €54,50 per person.
